I’m writing this post from the iPad. And use the word press app for that. To just make text posts it looks like it works perfectly well. We’ll see what it does with pictures though. Not to forget the thumbnail on the front page. Maybe I just need to change a little bit in the code to make it work gracefully. Test one, two, three…

Yes the groups were too big to catch at once as I had the 85mm mounted on my camera. So I took a panorama, each of those pictures consists of 4–6 shots.

Just some pictures from around the floor during the two days of the competition. A competition that went very well for our couples (see website TSA TSG Grünstadt) and for V-studio. Winners several classes on both days were wearing our designs!

Click on them for a sharper view. The shots were developed using RAW developer. Not the easiest of all RAW developers but if you want to squeeze out the most details this is the one to go for. Oh wait that is just my opinion of course.

Reprocessing X3Fs with Lightroom 3 beta 2

I started reprocessing X3Fs in Lightroom 3 beta 2, and I am amazed! The new rendering engine in Lightroom is so much better for Foveon files. It really picks up much more detail in a much cleaner and nicer way. They really got control over the noise appearance. It is also very nice to be able to control the noise killing, if necessary, yourself. Because of this new rendering the colors improved too. There is a lot less greens in the shadows (probably because of the new noise control). Just give it a try to see if it does for you what it did for my files A thumbs up for the Lightroom team
