Starting from Friday October 3rd several World Championships in Ballroom and Latin American dances as well as the German Championships took place in one of the most beautiful halls of Germany. The Rosengarten Hall in Mannheim was full of dancers from all over the world, including Peter and Maria who participated in the World Championships in Latin on Friday.

They danced very good and reached the 15th place out of 24 couples. They looked stunning on the floor in their new outfit. I put nearly 10.000 Swarovski rhinestones onto Maria’s dress and accessories. You couldn’t miss her on the floor. Peter, in his matching outfit, was looking very strong and masculine. We took a few details shots of the dress and will make a special shooting to show the complete dress in its full glamour. I decided to name this dress “Black Caviar”. It is as luxury and seldom as the real caviar.
But Saturday was the most important day for us. We were going for gold. Peter and Maria had a chance to become German champions. I am happy and proud to say that they didn’t miss this chance. The golden medals matched perfectly with the gold-silver dress. It was just meant to be worn by a champion.
Congratulations Peter and Maria!
More of my students spent the 3 days competing for German Champion titles in different dance styles. But that is a topic for another article.

Olga, so much energy – yours.
That is a ‘heavy dress’. Very solid in some space, and projects a strength.
Your dancer – the sepia of her is very effective, shows a person.
Congratulations to you and Bob on all the effort – and on the dancers coming in with their prizes. You can see something in the young woman’s natural grace of positioning in some of the later shots.
Best,
Clive
