Our lovely friends that used to run DaToni in Grün­stadt opened a new res­taur­ant in Hof­fen­heim, La Trat­toria. Yes­ter­day even­ing we were invited to join them for an informal open­ing with friends and neigh­bors. Of course I couldn’t leave my cam­era at home. It is a really lovely res­taur­ant that I am sure we will visit often.

Olga for a long time wanted to ride the big machine that picks the grapes. So last sat­urday we vis­ited Wein­gut Schreiber in Kind­en­heim. One of the biggest fam­ily owned wine houses in the Deutsche Wein­straße. With more than 30 hec­tare vine­yards in Kind­en­heim, Bock­en­heim, Mühl­heim and Assel­heim.
