At the moment we are shoot­ing a ton of dance shoes for a cata­logue. Never thought that Live View could be some­thing so handy. It’s really more com­fort­able when shoot­ing such product shots. And it makes us much more pro­duct­ive. We can’t show you of course the end product yet but here are a few “behind the scenes” shots. All those shoes lined up to be shot.

I am proudly present­ing one of my best cre­ations. This dress design was wait­ing for 7 years to finally see the world. I made a sketch in 2002 but never found a cus­tomer to whom I can offer it… until this February.

I cre­ated not only a dress but also a com­plete out­fit for the part­ner. Actu­ally it was him who came first to order his out­fit. Then he saw that 7 years old design and it was a per­fect match from the first look. The fol­low­ing week­end I had a com­plete couple sit­ting in front of me. They both were thrilled about get­ting match­ing out­fits. The only tiny little prob­lem was that I had no time to fin­ish all 3 pieces without doing the nights through. This couple is very young and very suc­cess­ful. Today they will go for the title of the regional cham­pi­ons. Could I say “no”? No! So I braced myself for a few sleep­less nights. I am so lucky that I have two fair­ies Susie and Angelika who come to help me when I need them. Susie was help­ing with put­ting stones on the dress and Angelika did the most unex­cit­ing work as tak­ing out cot­tons, iron­ing, fix­ing small things which take incred­ible amount of time. We were work­ing like crazy. But it was worth it.

When the girl entered the room and saw the dress her breath was taken away and she couldn’t say a word. So did her mom and part­ner. Also her part­ner looks so mature and styl­ish in his new out­fit. I couldn’t let them go without tak­ing a few pic­tures. The shoot­ing was very short but I love the res­ults. I hardly could part myself from the dress and give it away. But I am sure it will bring them luck and golden medals will match it perfect.
