So only a quick note and a picture
We are totally dead from the last few days. Friday we had Ball at the dance school and on saturday we did a wedding in Wuppertal (only 300km from here). On sunday we had to clean up from friday and sort and organize the files, Olga had to teach as usual. To make up a little for the loss of sleep we are off to bed early. With a bottle of white wine and the remote control in the hand. Fitting to that I have for you all one picture from the wedding. Talk to you all later!

For CMI (Contract Medical International) I made in the past several products. Ranging from print through photography to their website. In the last few weeks updates have been done to their website. Products are now in sections, lots of small polishing and updating now has been made easier for them. The site is running on WordPress, originally a blog system but it has matured over the years into an easy to use and more all round CMS system. It means less work for me but very convenient for the customer
Our V-studio blog is also running WordPress by the way. If you have the need we can provide solutions based on WordPress (or other web solutions) for you too. Just contact us at info [at] vstudio-photography.com and we are sure we can make you a nice offer!

Only after taking down a wall the real work starts. Taking out the trash. Not an easy task as the room is located on the third floor about 7 to 8 meters high… We ordered a container plus slide. Easy we thought just dumping the trash from the top through the slide into the container. Only there was one small problem. We were not able to get the slide up
The thing was so heavy that we managed no further than the second floor. As walking down would not work for this amount we decided on the bucket-on-a-rope technique. Not as easy as the slide but it worked very well! Olga broke the wall parts into smaller pieces, Pommy collected that into the buckets and let them slide down. I had the honor of dumping it into the container. Pommy btw. was a very big help today, thank you very much!

As Olga also has to deliver a dress or two in the coming days we had help for that too, Susie and Angelika glued stones and flowers to 2 ballroom dresses. It’s great to count on friends! Thanks to them our studio will be great, we are sure!
Oh, and last but not least… Anastasia took a few of the shots with DP1 and did it well! I think it will be hard for all of you to pick which is hers among those below.

Here is a little story about the birth of one of my creations. It still fascinates me that in a short period of time a pile of dead materials becomes alive in a dress.

The shirt for the boy was also done by me to match the dress and make the look complete.
Thank you Bob for last 3 shots of the ready dress. It was middle of the night, I was sewing, glueing, fixing, fitting for more then 12 hours nonstop. So I was not able to hold the camera in my hands.
The details shots I took with DP1 (with and without macro lens) and SD14 with 50 EX Macro.

In the middle of all the stress I am continuing making dresses. This is one of my latest dress creations for one lovely lady from UK. I made already 3 dresses for her, so this one is her 4th. Just a few snaps for my folio. Pictures taken in our new not yet renovated studio with new pro line flashes from Walimex.

Or better said, we’re breaking down some walls
We took down the wall between the 2 rooms that together will be the studio. It is very bad for the camera, lots of dust! But we still snapped a few of course.
